2023-02-19 Today Młoda woke up in a world where an avalanche of balls can fall on her from the sky

Młoda's life will never be the same again. But one thing at a time.

Yesterday was wonderful, from morning all the way until evening.

It started with taking care of a few things around town, but I don’t feel like describing that. The cooler part was what happened in the afternoon. We went with our friends to Ancymondo, a playroom at Stacja Nowa Gdynia. So, whichever way you look at it, another dream checked off. And without me doing anything. It was J. who arranged it with them and told me we were going there. I don’t think she even realized how happy it would make me. And it was amazing. Ancymondo is a pretty big playroom. Something like a huge cage, with many levels, different paths, and attractions. There are slides, trampolines, little cars (sadly for older kids), a pontoon slide. Heaven on earth for my inner child. Though honestly, I don’t think that child of mine is all that inner, because in places like this I get really hyped.

Młoda probably didn’t have as much fun as I did, but she also looked happy. She was a bit scared to walk around all those levels, among all those kids, so she made me carry her, but I was fine with that. I hope it helps her get used to it quickly and that eventually she’ll want to run around with me more. A lot of the attractions could have been pretty terrifying for her after all, a big, chaotic ball pit, tons of kids, and a machine filling a basket under the ceiling, from which, once it was full, the balls would spill out.

The world revealed a whole bunch of new dangers to her.

The coolest attraction for Młoda turned out to be the toddler area. I think she felt safest there. For me, that place wasn’t all that interesting, but never mind. I cared about her having fun too. Along the way we met some little kids.

We spent the evening at Otto pizzeria in Teofilów, and the early night having all kinds of conversations at our friends’ apartment.

A very good time. I want more of that.
